Since 1978, R.E. Port & Associates Land Surveying has delivered high-quality surveying services across Colorado’s Front Range. We are dedicated to ensuring every client understands their survey and is completely satisfied with the results. With over 48 years of experience, we have built one of Colorado’s most extensive survey record libraries, housing more than 450,000 documents. This resource, combined with our commitment to staying current with evolving laws, cutting-edge technology, and the dynamic needs of our clients, sets us apart. Our Founder & President
Bob Port, our founder and president, began his surveying career in 1971 with a private land surveying firm in Denver. He later joined the City of Arvada’s Surveying and Mapping Department, where he earned his Professional Land Surveyors License. Subsequently, Bob served as Vice President and Chief of Parties at a prominent surveying company in Arvada. In 1978, he established R.E. Port & Associates, Inc., bringing his expertise and vision to create a trusted name in the industry. Under Bob’s leadership, R.E. Port & Associates has served thousands of satisfied clients throughout Denver and its surrounding counties, building a legacy of reliability and professionalism.

Vice President
Sandie Port is the backbone of our daily operations at R.E. Port & Associates. As our office manager, she ensures seamless communication with our clients by answering phone calls, scheduling jobs, and responding to emails with efficiency and care. Sandie’s dedication to exceptional service keeps our projects on track and our clients informed every step of the way. Her warm professionalism and organizational expertise are integral to maintaining the high standards of customer satisfaction that define our family business.

Manager / Party Chief    
Tyler Port is the son of Bob and Sandie Port and grandson of Donald Port, a respected land surveyor and innovator at the U.S. Geological Survey (1931–2019). As the next-generation leader of R.E. Port & Associates Land Surveying, Tyler upholds a proud family tradition of precision and integrity in the profession. Raised in the field, he combines deep-rooted knowledge with genuine passion and a strong focus on client needs.
​A licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Colorado, Tyler brings more than 14 years of full-time experience and a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping (minor in Mathematics) from Metropolitan State University. As Manager and Party Chief, he leads the team in blending the firm’s time-tested standards with modern technology and innovative methods to serve clients across the Front Range effectively.Dedicated to the core values established in 1978—accuracy, reliability, and exceptional customer satisfaction—Tyler is committed to advancing the family-owned firm for future generations and remaining a trusted partner for all land surveying needs.
